Judge me?

Who are you to judge me
criticize me
All I call it is jealousy
Look at me with
malicious eyes
For in yourself
you see demise
I hate you for what you
call me
I don't know you
for he won't tell me
Show yourself, cowards hide
But those are the ones who
judge and chide
Show yourself
you're afraid
Call me names
it's what you say
Judge me criticize me
Point at me, chide me
You know why,
because you're shy
Of your own faults
So you make up mine
Say what I want though
It hurts inside

I would say: "Olga would say: "Oprah would say :"When people show you who they are, believe them."""

What do you say?

Yeah, that's true, but too often I don't. I keep on having hope in people. That they won't let me down again. But they do again and again. And it hurts because it's the people that you thought were the closest to you. Don't know why I keep giving people chances when they don't change. I keep on hoping and having faith in people, but sometimes maybe it's not faith but being blind.

People can let you down so bad. And then the world becomes lonelier with each let down. But you gotta get over it and move on somehow. That's the tricky thing though ; somehow. After all the hurt.

These ppl were real assholes to me. And I've decided that true friends would never do such a thing. So I gotta re-think who's a friend and who's not and who it is that I've been hanging around with. Do I really need all this negative energy in my life?

Agreed.

If they're contributing in some positive way to your life, then they're worth still being around, but if they keep stuffing you around, then you should be looking elsewhere for friendship and probably being a bit more selfish / more guarded with your spiritual space.

Negative energy can be real toxic and result in an imbalance in your own spiritual state pretty quickly.

I'm sure you know the saying (although George W Bush doesn't - youtube it if you haven't already): If you fool me once, shame on you. If you fool me twice, shame on me!

I think you're a bit like me sometimes, a bit of an eternal optimist when it comes to people and thinking that :"of course, they'll change and prove me right", but doesn't always work that way...
